Black Magic
Belief in the occult goes back decades my family. Although know one before me got into black magic, there were some pretty strange practices. My grandmother was a psychic, or so she claimed. She believed that she could predict futures by reading people's palms. She also consulted astrology to some degree, and was involved with several other occult doctrines as well. My mother was an herbalist and my father used to have visions when he was a kid. Neither of them really took magic as a serious part of their lives, but they couldn't deny its influence.
I have always been drawn to the darker side of things, so it is natural that after a while I started to experiment with black magic. I actually started off with some voodoo magic meant to protect me. You see, I was being picked on in school quite a bit. I was a new kid in the school, and my family was not as wealthy as many of the families of the other children. As such, the other kids picked on me relentlessly. I decided to try out a voodoo spell as a way to protect myself from one of the worst bullies.
Black Magic spells are actually much simpler than you would think. Although Hollywood portrays them as works of sorcery involving demons, sacrifices, and blood, in reality they are usually pretty straightforward affairs. The ingredients are pretty simple. Things like dead beetles, gofer dust, gaveyard dirt, and offerings of whiskey or wine are common ingredients in voodoo magic. The particular black magic spell I cast was so simple, in fact, that I didn't expect it to work. Boy was I in for a surprise!
One of the most common things that you hear from experienced magicians is never to try to do something that you don't want to actually see happen. Although this is obvious to most people, it is still important to hear when you're practicing black magic. I wasn't sure if I would get results, and so I contemplated using an extremely strong spell. Fortunately, I settled on something weaker: a spell designed to cause my enemy to stay away from me and leave me alone. It worked perfectly. If I had tried something more vindictive, I might have actually caused serious harm to him.
Since then, I have used black magic for a variety of different things. I have cast love spells, invoked the protection of various spirits, and in general made extensive use of occult forces. It is all undeniably real, but it is much less dark and evil than most people think.

Summary
Black magic is actually not as evil as people might think. It can be used for protection and love. The key to using such power is to always use it for good. Ingredients include fairly common items, such as wine, dead beetles, graveyard dirt, or gofer dust. As with all spell casting, use discretion and understand that what goes around comes around.
