Brands of Clothes

image

When I was a kid, I paid very little attention to brands of clothing. I knew that there were a lot of famous brands of clothes that some of my classmates liked to wear, But for me it was all about finding something comfortable. As a matter of fact, I never really had a favorite brand of clothes until I was a teenager. Up until that point, I would just wear whatever fit.

Once I was a teen, however, my appearance became more important to me. I wouldn't just wear the brands of clothes that my mom picked out – usually, rugged, simple, and unadorned. Instead, I wanted to pick my own clothing. My parents had a very simple solution for me. If I wanted to be independent and pick out my own clothes, that was fine, but I had to get a job to support it. If clothing brands were so important to me, I needed to understand the cost of money myself.

I was a pretty practical teen. The brands of clothes that I liked were usually a reflection of what fit be best. Don't get me wrong – I sometimes bought 40 dollar jeans when I could've gotten by with 15 dollar off brand pants, but I also did whatever I could to save money. I bought at JC Penny's, for example, or even at the thrift store. As a matter of fact, I was scrounging around thrift stores for my favorite brands of clothes long before it became fashionable. It was a great way to save money and get stylish outfits.

At one point, I even made a list of clothing brands that I liked to make it easier for me to shop. Once you figure out your favorite brands of clothes, You can save a whole lot of time by making a good shopping list. Write down what style of jeans you like, what kind of khakis you like, and which T-shirts are your favorites, and you can simply go in to the mall and think things out without taking too much time about it. Every once in awhile, clothing brands will change their style, but usually things remain pretty consistent. If you bought a pair of jeans from Levi Strauss that you liked one week, you probably will like them the next time you try them out. If not, you can always try to find something else. Most stores have plenty of choices.
