Spawn Action Figures The character of Spawn is a fascinating anti-hero. Beginning as a comic book story, it has been adapted as a movie and as an animated television series. The story begins with Al Simmons, a CIA agent, who is murdered by his superior because Simmons finds out that he is corrupt. Simmons ends up in hell and becomes a hellspawn because he does a deal with a devil, to see the wife he adores, just one more time. The story follows Spawn's torment and his battles with his enemies. The Spawn Action Figures show him in various guises and that of his various foes. In 2002, McFarlane Toys presented 10th Anniversary Spawn with original characters from Image Comics. The Spawn the Movie - The Graveyard Playset depicts a very spooky scene between Clown and Spawn. It has been reported that McFarlane would like another film adaptation to be made.
